We are students and parents that love Robotics!
We are a nonprofit organization where the students are our stars! Our volunteers, parents, and mentors love to share and help our students in any ways possible. The students are challenged to learn, innovate, and pursue solutions for specific problems all while enjoying the fun and creative process.
Our main objective is for students to get real-life field experience in engineering, programing, business, and electronics as well as to learn what it takes to build a successful team, finish a project within a set time limit, and compete with the best of the best.
The Iron Tigers Robotics Team was born from the enthusiasm and tenacity of a handful of Oliver Ames High School freshmen who wanted to learn and explore the field of Robotics and share the experience with the community. Thanks to their diligence and determination, the newly founded robotics team not only survived the competition, but flourished and rose to such a high level where one of our own members, our founder to be exact, Joshua Segill, was selected for the FIRST Dean's list. The FIRST Dean's list is a national award which recognized his leadership and contribution to the robotics community within the town of Easton.
We would love to continue this saga, but in order to do this we need your help. Please consider contributing to our cause in anyway possible to keep challenging our kids, opening them up to new opportunities, teaching life skills, and providing them with the experience of a life-time.
